As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for commercial processing of business transactions related to one or more construction projects. Your key responsibilities include:
Familiarization with existing documents and conditions of the construction project
Preparation of regular planned/actual comparisons of costs and work performed
Setting aside reserves and making value adjustments
Creation, recording, checking and account assignment of invoices
Preparation of monthly performance reports
Monitoring of payment runs, cash Discounts, and guarantee processes
Responsible review of contracts, permits and certificates of non-objection
Continual monitoring of own and third-party guarantees regarding construction work and payment process
Assistance in obtaining all necessary building, trade and other permits
Coordination of personnel deployment
Conducting periodic appraisal interviews
In addition to an independent, committed and responsible working approach, you are expected to have the following qualifications:
University degree in economics
Minimum 5 years working experience in construction industry
Competence/experience in: Contract management with Clients and Subcontractors, PTO, cost accounting
Good knowledge of the MS Office package, advanced Excel user and the ability to quickly acquire new software (including in-house developments)
Strong analytical skills
English or German fluent
Ability to build strong customer contacts
Excellent communication and project management skills.
