- 5–7 years of recruitment experience, ideally within a dynamic or technical industry
- Solid understanding of the full recruitment process
- Proficient in modern sourcing techniques and active use of social media platforms
- Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage several roles and projects in parallel, while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
- A positive, collaborative, and can-do attitude, with the flexibility and motivation to go above and beyond when necessary
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build effective professional relationships
- Fluent in English; Romanian language proficiency is essential
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Good knowledge of Romanian labor legislation and recruitment compliance.

We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our team at STRABAG Romania. The ideal candidate will bring 5–7 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment and will be confident working independently, while supporting a wide range of departments and simultaneous projects across the country.We value someone with a proactive mindset and a solution-oriented attitude — someone who is reliable, efficient, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure timely and high-quality hiring outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from screening to onboarding, for roles across Romania
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and the recruitment team to understand staffing needs and define ideal candidate profiles
- Source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through the most effective channels including social media, job portals, and referrals
- Create and manage engaging job advertisements to attract the right talent
- Conduct screening, organize and participate in interviews, and provide support throughout the selection process
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, offering insights and guidance during the evaluation and decision-making process
- Maintain and update the candidate database while building and nurturing a talent pipeline for future hiring needs
- Represent STRABAG Romania at career fairs and recruitment events, actively promoting the employer brand
- Proactively contribute to improving recruitment and onboarding practices, based on feedback and industry best practices
- Successfully handle multiple vacancies and recruitment projects simultaneously, often within tight deadlines, while maintaining high standards of quality and communication.
