Under the direction of the Commercial Director, the Finance and Administration Manager will be responsible to manage the financial and administrative team to achieve company financial goals. Oversee preparation of financial records related to general ledger, payroll, budget & expenses. Assist in developing overall corporate financial goals and objectives. Engagement date as soon as possible.


Accounting & Finance

  • Month Closing – lead the month closing procedures and coordinate with Commercial Site Management
  • Intercompany Invoicing – analyze and prepare monthly invoices between STRABAG
  • Year End - coordinate the preparation of financial statements for our Canadian and US-affiliates
  • Tax - ensure timely and accurate tax remittances
  • Develop and maintain standard financial and administrative procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to finance and admin teams



  • Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of our Labor & Staff payrolls
  • Supervise and manage payroll processing and tax filing activities



  • Prepare monthly,
    quarterly & yearly financial reporting for parent company
    Develop annual
    operating budgets


Human Resources

  • Recruiting – lead the hiring process for our projects and office
  • Prepare and administer Staff Employment Agreements



  • Assist with preparation of and participate in ISO audits
  • Administer the office & vehicle lease agreements
  • Coordinate support with external IT service provider
  • Ensure the office is always maintained in a representative condition


  • 3 years’ experience as an Finance and Administration Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent
  • Accounting designation
  • Excellent planning, organization and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with confidential issues in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word & Excel)
  • Knowledge of AS400 & SUN accounting systems
  • Superb organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, persistent and flexible
  • Ability to multi-task
