IT Manager (Head Office)

Zadania

  • Responsible and accountable for the development and effectiveness of a small IT-Service Desk Team
  • Resolving level2 issues/requests, managing escalation processes with networks and other systems
  • Following up with customers and service providers/level3 to ensure full resolution of issues
  • Running reports to analysis common complaints and problems
  • Writing, editing, and revising manuals and policies for users and technicians
  • Ensuring that IT systems are maintained, accurate and up to date
  • Responsible for providing a smooth on boarding process from an IT perspective
  • Act as interface between corporate IT, Branch office and projects
  • Data Backup, recovery and migration in close corporation with corporate IT structures
  • Ensure maintenance of inventory and cost control
  • Responsible and accountable for the overall resolution of such issues
  • Consistently work within agreed practices to maintain effective IT solutions
  • Responsible for own and team initiative - to constantly learn and stay up to date with technical knowledge
  • Attend meetings – as required – to give Groupwide overview of challenges and solutions

Pani/Pana kwalifikacje

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science Studies, verifiable training in computer sciences or degree in Construction Engineering in combination with solid expertise in the field of information technology is a must.
  • Trained on Data Security standards and requirements (e.g. ISO27001, GDPR, CES+)
  • CSCS Card (relevant type)  All roles are expected to have the relevant competency skills cards where site-based work is required.
  • Global best practice certifications (ITIL, MOF, PRINCE2, ) are desirable.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of successfully managing teams (min 3 years exp)
  • Goal-oriented, committed and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills at all levels - Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
  • Construction site experience in large projects (between 200m and 1bn contractual value) in a comparable position is desirable.
  • Fully conversant in information technology platforms (Office 365, Windows operating systems, Lotus Notes) and networking.
  • International or European driver license class B.
  • Goal-oriented, committed and ability to work independently.
  • Teamwork capabilities, ability to work as part of a global IT Team
  • Able to think through problems, troubleshoot in a methodical manner and escalate as required
  • Able to work independently and manage/ prioritise tasks
  • Experience in large IT projects in a comparable position is desirable
  • Expertise in construction software solutions (Bentley products, Primavera, CostOS, PRISM, ArcGIS, etc.) is desirable.
  • Fluent in English and German skills or willingness to learn German are desirable
